Oh yeah we wanted this one but I dont remember the Horn Section?

Tom Visney and I went to see the Byrds at Aire Crown Theater one night in the middle of the week. He did not believe me that McGwynn could play the solo on Eight Miles High. I bet him because I saw the Byrds do it live for the first time at Culver-Stockton College in Canton Missouri, in 1966 before it was released on vinyl. I have other witnesses that will back me up, right Skip? Anyway, for $2.50 seats they ended the set with Eight Miles High and closed the curtain while the band played on, and then the chicks chased them down State Street tearing off their clothes so they wrote this one. Yeah, it happened.

Skip Williamson and Commander Cody

Everytime Commander Cody came to Town (Chicago) our good friend Skip Williamson would be on the VIP guest list. I was aware that Skip was tight with Cody and the band, the Lost Planet Airmen but we never discussed the Backstage antics. It was none of my business, I knew Skip well enough to know if he wanted to tell me a story or two, he would, and he did and we created a few together even. I recently asked Skip if he would consider writing an episode or two about The Commander and those crazy days back in Chicago. Skip Williamson is truly a remarkable writer besides being a great artist, and has many asking for hard cover editions of his writing talent. If that happens, we will surely post up the news at Comic Book College Weeklies, in the meantime, stay tuned...and be sure you scroll down to watch the video

Hank Watts and The Keith, Roxy Music and Positively 4TH Street

Hey, all you crazy cats and cool kitties, Hank Watts here with the latest and the greatest from the Garage, Basement and Attics of the world pumping out serious music for serious tune headers. This little diddy you see here is the brainchild The Keith and myself, though mostly Myself and my dreams inspired to some degree by The Keith.

No doubt you are wondering now about The Keith, and maybe that is only right. You see the Keith can produce a certain state of euphoria when it comes to serious toneology ( the study of tones created in a vacuum tube). That is why we call it the Keith.
Anyway, that is what it is, and as the Keith and I always say, doing it is doing it, and nothing beats doing it, so go do it, dude, that is what we always said about it, if you dont do it, you dont get it, got it? Good, so lets get back to doing it ok? Thank you, here is some doing it for you, if you like.

Remember Robert Gordon? No you dont, you never even heard of Robert Gordon because your were n't even born yet. But if you did hear Robert Gordon then you would know. Unfortunately I could not afford to listen to Robert Gordon either so I cant comment, so let's move on. How about Dick Dale? Nevermind, he got everything he ever did ripped off by others. No doubt there is some bitterness there, but we still are indebted to the guy. I hope there is a way to upload the tunes here because this is going to suck if we cant back this up with the gtunes MAN. Ok I am getting tired of this already. It is time to upload something of low brow high quality sh*t before we all go under the black background, think about it, MAN!!!!!!
